the Longest running all female Air Race

This air race is open to all women pilots. Membership in the Ninety-Nines is not required. The objective of the race is to have fun while promoting women in aviation. "It is loads of fun and more education than one can imagine.” The Palms to Pines Air Race begins at Santa Monica, CA. racers fly to Merced Airport for a timed fly-by and may stop for a hosted lunch or continue to Red Bluff Airport for a timed fly-by and an overnight stay. The race continues Saturday morning departing the Red Bluff airport and flying to Redmond, OR for a timed fly-by then proceeds to Bend, OR for an awards dinner Saturday evening. If you can’t fly in the race you can still be part history by sponsoring a racer, purchasing memorabilia or being a support volunteer.

SPECIAL!! Dinner in Red Bluff — at the Hampton Inn --is being donated by an anonymous donor who wants to support the 99s and the race. It will be set up at the hotel and be free to all race participants.
